The problem
Halfway through a signed agreement my partner went quiet. Calls unanswered, emails unanswered, deliverables stalled. I do not know whether to keep performing my side or stop.
What we told them
Keep performing, and document everything. Silence is not termination, and if you stop first you hand them a breach argument. Send one written notice that states the outstanding obligations, a reasonable deadline and what happens if it passes — delivered by a method that produces proof. Most silence is distress, not malice: people who cannot pay stop answering the phone. The notice either restarts the conversation or gives you a clean record to act on.
