The problem

We moved the machine across the workshop. Same program, same tooling, same material, but every part now runs consistently oversize.

What we told them

Consistent error in one direction is a setup problem, not a wear problem — wear drifts, setup offsets. After a move the two usual causes are an unlevel base and a lost work-offset reference. Level the machine properly with a precision level in both axes before touching the controller; a twist of a few tenths across the bed is enough to produce exactly this. Re-probe the reference only after the base is true.
