The problem

Fine all day, weak from about six until nine in the evening, then back to normal.

What we told them

A drop that follows the clock and affects every outlet is a supply-side issue, not your plumbing. Peak demand on the main is lowering pressure for the whole street. Confirm by checking with a neighbour at the same hour — if they see it too, it is the utility, and a pressure complaint from several addresses carries far more weight than one. If your house alone is affected at peak, a partially closed stop valve or a failing PRV is the next place to look.
